We Believe in the Future of Agriculture.
We work diligently to match our programming needs with those in our communities who have the financial resources to open doors for Virginia FFA members. 185 agricultural education programs offer over 3.5 MILLION hours of formal classroom instruction in agriculture.
Our primary goal is to introduce our 32,200 students to the over 300 careers in agriculture and to ensure that our students become productive members of society.
Virginia FFA Foundation
Since its beginning in 1917, Agricultural Education has served as the primary way for young people to learn the knowledge and skills needed to promote Agriculture. Agriculture & Forestry is Virginia’s largest industry by far, with nothing else coming a close second. The industry has an economic impact of $79 billion annually and provides more than 357,000 jobs in the Commonwealth.
Agricultural Education uses hands-on learning and individualized instruction to teach America’s youth how to continue to provide food and fiber to an ever-increasing society. We must recognize the role Agriculture plays in our everyday lives and work together to ensure a wholesome food supply for the next generation.
That’s what we are all about. The Virginia FFA Foundation is focused on connecting Virginia individuals, businesses, industries, and organizations that have an interest in the future of agriculture with the needs and priorities of the Virginia FFA Association and agricultural education community.
